In this video we go through the Military Auxiliary Radio Service, & Civil Air Patrol
configuration, for a Super Antenna MP1, operating on 4.2 to 4.9Mhz. MARS has a long history of providing worldwide auxiliary emergency communications during times of need. Combined, the two-service MARS programs (Army, and Air Force), have a volunteer force of over 3,000 dedicated amateur radio operators, providing the backbone of the MARS program. These ooerators help provide redundant communications capability in the event of a large-scale power or communications outage.
